Welcome to Parkdale Primary School Moving Forward, Learning Together

The Curiosity Cube

When we returned to school on the 8th March we found an empty nest in our curiosity cube. We drew pictures to try and work out who the nest belonged too and monitored the nest for any changes.
The next week we found that something had laid three eggs in the nest! We used the magnifying glasses to looks closely for any changes or clues. The eggs continued to change until one day they started to disappear...

We were shocked! Had they hatched? Had someone taken them? We just didn’t know, until on the last day of term when someone/ something had left us all mini chocolate eggs and a letter!
The eggs were laid by Mrs T Rex and she had left her eggs there for us to look after she knew we were kind and caring in Reception! She worked closely with the Easter Bunny and delivered us these eggs as a thank you.
What will the curiosity cube hold next?

We love using the iPads in Reception, we are really confident using them and we have developed our digital skills throughout the term. Look at our amazing work.

Welcome to Parkdale...
